These clients commissioned Signature to manage and build a contemporary, two storey home on a city centre plot to add to their rental portfolio. Tricky site conditions meant the construction of a raft foundation and underpinning of a large garden retaining wall, requiring party wall agreements and liaison with structural engineers. The result is an energy efficient ‘upside-down’ house, with open plan living upstairs and a full width balcony to take advantage of the city centre views.
