This was an interesting project to upgrade a bathroom and create a new downstairs shower room in a Grade II listed property, with all of the constraints posed by listed status. The client wanted to incorporate old pieces of furniture and add character, but also hide pipework and include contemporary luxuries! Sean handmade wooden supports for the freestanding bath, adapted an oak cupboard to house the washbasin and crafted a doorstep from reclaimed oak to make it appear as if it had years of wear.
