Listed building barn conversion, Magor

Signature were commissioned to project manage the first phase of a listed building barn conversion and retail unit extension. The work required liaising with heritage and planning officers, sourcing local building materials and using traditional techniques. The roof was particularly tricky, requiring provision for bat access and retaining the complicated angles and pitches of the old roof. The gable end had to be completely rebuilt in old stone according to heritage conditions but then covered in lime render to match the existing building.
